The Supreme Court’s annual report on justices’ wealth revealed that Associate Justice Francis Jardeleza still held the top spot with a net worth of P261.067 million as of December 31, 2017.
Acting Chief Justice Antonio Carpio saw the biggest increase in his assets, rising by P23.23 million and contributing to a net worth of more than P105.87 million.
The figures also included ousted chief justice Maria Lourdes Sereno (P27.34 million), retired associate justices Presbitero Velasco Jr. (P22.081 million) and Teresita Leonardo-De Castro (P19.76 million).
