Carpio Questions Pacquiao’s Leadership Qualities

Retired Supreme Court Justice Antonio Carpio has raised concerns over Senator Manny Pacquiao’s ability to lead the country due to his poor attendance record in legislative sessions.

Carpio, who heads the 1Sambayan coalition, emphasized that running a nation of 110 million people requires more than just good intentions. He believes that competence and a proven track record are essential qualities for a president.

In an interview with ANC, Carpio cited Pacquiao’s history of absences in Congress, stating that this lack of commitment to legislative duties raises questions about his ability to lead the country effectively.
